Providing You With a Holistic Pet Care Experience
My mobile veterinary practice is named in loving memory of my late yellow lab, Bella. Two years after adopting my sweet girl, she was diagnosed with an inoperable malignant soft tissue sarcoma. Her prognosis was grave, so I was heartbroken knowing we did not have much time left together. We immediately started conventional treatments, including radiation and medications. We also sought alternative therapies to provide additional pain and inflammatory relief. I am incredibly grateful for the extra time we were able to spend together after her devastating cancer diagnosis. Bella was eventually euthanized at home in the comfort of her own home surrounded by many people and all of things (mainly food and toys!) she loved the most. Qualifications & Background
Veterinary medical care has always been a passion of mine, and my clinical career started as a veterinary technician in high school and college. I started my veterinary medicine education journey at Texas A&M University in College Station where I earned by bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science. Thereafter, I earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, and I was granted the opportunity to return back to Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine to complete my clinical year. After vet school graduation, I completed a rotating small animal internship at a high-volume speciality hospital in Washington DC where I gained invaluable clinical experience working with veterinary specialists early in my career.
After spending several years as an emergency clinician and general practitioner, I decided to shift my focus to mobile veterinary care, so I could provide pets with quality medical care in the comfort of their own homes. After seeing the benefits Bella experienced from her acupuncture during her cancer medical care, I was extremely motivated to become veterinary acupuncture certified at the Curacore School for Scientific Integrative Medicine, so I could provide that experience to pets and their owners. My Fear Free Veterinary Certification allows me to minimize stress and fear during every interaction with patients especially during examinations, assessments and treatments.
